My Protein Shake

I try to keep my eating as simple as possible, and protein shakes make that easy for me when I am in a hurry and need all my nutrients to help my muscle growth and fuel for my day.  I usually have one everyday at lunch. The question I get the most is what kind of protein powder I use, so here’s what goes down….

Protein Shake

1 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk

1 cup water

1-2 tbsp almond/cashew or peanut butter

1 pitted date

1 tbsp cacao powder

1/2 Banana (I like to pre-cut mine and store them in the freezer in individual ziplocs)

5 frozen spinach cubes

1 scoop Iron Vegan

Add all ingredients to blender, and blend until smooth.
