Hi! Welcome to The FFIT Life!

My name if Tiff, I am in my late twenties, married to a wonderful man, have 2 little girls and 2 fur babies. I have an amazing family and I am EXTREMELY passionate about health and fitness.

Here’s my story….

I made the big move to Northern Alberta with my Husband in 2008 to run a family grocery store. I was living six and a half hours away from my family and friends, so I thought blogging would be a good way to them informed about my life and lifestyle changes I had been making.

I have made a huge change in my lifestyle, from my eating habits to exercising. When we first made the move up north, I reached for comfort foods…well to comfort me (chicken fingers and fries most nights). Over the course of a few years I gained almost 15 pounds of what you could call love chub (which was very hard to accept as I was a dancer for 16 years).

In the summer of 2011 after being together for 7 years, my husband and I got married, and it was the best day of my life and also my waistlines. Having a deadline is a perfect thing for procrastinator. After the wedding was over, there was no way the married life was taking over my waistline again. One day while searching online for a new workout program, I came across Jamie Eason (I am sure most people think she was actually my friend since I talked about her so much). In October of 2011, I started the Jamie Eason Livefit Trainer and never looked back!

I have now entered into the next phase of my journey, motherhood and Crossfit. I am loving every moment, okay maybe not so much the no sleep part, but I wouldn’t change anything for the world! This new phase of my journey has made me discover ways to make quick meals and snacks but still keep them healthy, find time to workout, continue sharing my passion for health and fitness and spend quality time with my family. Juggling all of these things is hard, but I have become an excellent multitasker. Crossfit has been the game changer for my body. I have never been challenged and changed the way Crossfit does and has. I am stronger, faster, more muscular than ever in my life, and I feel amazing. Not only is it a good workout, the community is amazing. It makes me want to keep coming back for more. I always thought Crossfit was for extreme athletes or first responders. Wrong! It’s literally for everyone (even us busy mamas ;)).
