Tis’ The Season


Tis’ the season for snow (lots of snow!) and Christmas parties out the wazoo! As much fun as Christmas parties and get-togethers can be, they are not so fun for a persons waistline. If you work in an office where people are constantly shoving disgustingly good things in your face and insisting you eat them, trust me I know what it can be like! BUT you don’t have to be one of those people who brings a sinfully good dish, you can be that person who brings a clean dish that tastes sinful but is anything but :). So today I bring you appetizers that are good for any party and your waistline!

Clean Eating Chips & Gaucamole

Greek Yogurt Spinach Dip

Artichokes would be a great addition to this dip!

Fruit Platter

In this fruit platter I used, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries and green grapes. I made a fruit dip using Greek yogurt, fresh strawberries and raspberries and 1 tbsp honey. It was a hit and super easy to put together!
Two Bite Chocolate Chip Banana Protein Muffin

Everyone will thank you for these :).

Mini Crab Cakes

*I would suggest using the homemade olive oil mayo recipe included in the recipe.

Workout of the Day (Monday’s crossfit.com workout)

Complete as many rounds as possible in 20 minutes of:
Run 400 meters
Then three rounds of:
5 Pull-ups
10 Push-ups
15 Squats

The best part about this workout is, you can do it almost anywhere!

I love strong-looking women. This is proof that using heavy weight will not make you “big or bulky”, it makes you look strong and healthy. This is my motivation 🙂
