I first of all want to apologize for staying away for so long! I had to attend some business meetings with my husband this past weekend, and must admit that I had a lot of fun. I got a chance to go to the spa, meet some really great new people, go for a quick hike, workout, golf (well I rode in the cart and watched my husband golf ;), I was a mighty fine picture taker) and the most important, spend some quality time with my husband.

We also “HAD” to go golfing at this course 😉
But I am back to reality today. We started our week off right with crossfit this morning, and I am now ready to take on the rest of this week!
I also have some super exciting news!! I now have my very own domain name, theffitlife.com. My other domain, theffitlife.wordpress.com will still take you to my blog, but you will now notice at the top it will say my new domain name! You may be saying to yourself what the hell is she talking about, domain name? But the next time you visit my blog, you will notice it says theffitlife.com instead. It is a very exciting time for me (the little things in life excite me ;)).
Now if you didn’t get excited for that you may get excited for this. My friend Pam and I were talking one day about what we eat for treats. We both eat very clean, but we all have cravings and she suggested making this amazing treat. Amazing may be an understatement, and I can now see why she recommends only making a couple at a time. Now I don’t have/remember exact measurements, so it is up to you to decide how much you want to make.
Peanut/Almond Butter Cups
1. Melt chocolate and a small amount of coconut oil in sauce pan.
2. Once melted pour into a mini cupcake holder and place in freezer. Save a little for later.
3. Once frozen, place about a tablespoon of almond butter in the middle and pour rest of chocolate mixture on top, and freeze.
Eat once frozen!
You can thank Pam for helping to give you a little piece of heaven!
I was browsing Pinterest, and came upon this tutorial on how to make spaghetti squash. Spaghetti squash is much lower in carbs and is a great alternative to spaghetti noodles. Make sure to try it, it makes a great weekday meal ;).
I hope you all have a great night and happy Wednesday morning!
