Day 25!

I am sorry I missed day 24, but I will make it up to you today! I can’t believe how fast this month has gone, it’s already day 25! But before I share some new recipes, I found this wonderful chart that shows the importance and benefits of drinking water. It has been a hot summer, so make sure you are consuming the daily recommended amount to keep your body functioning properly and avoid dehydration. Not only should you make sure you drink enough water when it hots but ALWAYS! As simple as water is, it does amazing things!

Now onto the smoothie recipes! The first one is super refreshing and perfect for a hot day!

Green Tea Refresher

1/2 cup almond milk

1/2 cup brewed green tea (steep two tea bags in 1/2 cup water)

1/2 cup fresh/frozen honeydew melon

1 tsp honey


Blend all ingredients until smooth.

Raspberry Mango Smoothie

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup coconut water (if you don’t have coconut water you can use plain water or 1 cup of almond milk)

1/2 cup raspberries

1/3 cup mango

1-2 cups spinach

1 scoop vanilla whey or 1/2 cup Greek yogurt


Blend all ingredients until smooth.
