Pre Workout Energy

Tonight’s featured smoothie combines two amazing fruits, bananas and blueberries. Make this smoothie pre-workout or for a snack!

Blue Banana

1/2 cup coconut water

1/3 banana

1/2 cup blueberries

1 scoop protein powder (or 1/2 – 3/4 cup Greek yogurt)


Blend all ingredients until smooth.

I hope you all had a great Monday! I am off to Crossfit once again tomorrow, which can’t come soon enough. Why? I will let you in on a secret, I ate a homemade cinnamon bun today! There I said it! It was definitely a conscious choice, but now I feel the need to burn it off ;). The only reason I ate the cinnamon bun is because I have learned to control my cravings and I can have something once and not have it again for another 6 months. I do follow a 99% clean diet, but do allow for some treats once in a blue moon ;). If you ever need a place to come clean about something you feel guilty about eating, this is the place to do it! We are all here to support you and help you pick up and move on!

    Ok then..I had a little/big/huge piece of chocolate bar with almonds…PMS induced craving. I’m good now but feel like puking. Thanks.
