Peanut Butter Goodness!

Good Evening!

Just when you thought it was too late for me to post today, here I am! As you probably know by now, I really enjoy finding new recipes to try, and tonight was no exception. I also loooove peanut butter and I just couldn’t resist making these bad boys.

Peanut Butter Protein Cookies

They were delicious, just be sure you don’t over cook them!

Just think how good a peanut butter cookie and cup of tea would be right now!

I also stumbled upon this amazing article that sums up clean eating perfectly, and I couldn’t have said it any better. It touches on what clean eating is, the benefits of it, and how to begin. If you have been wanting to get started on cleaning up your lifestyle in terms of food, this is a great read!

Now I want to share a random thought that ran through my head today, and thought you might like it 😉

Today I was thinking about how much happier I have become. Why am I happier? I realized I am finally happy with myself. No, I might not be perfect according to Hollywood standards, but I am perfect according to MY OWN SELF. Like the saying goes, “You have to be happy with yourself before you can make others happy”. This cannot be more true in my life. I found that the happier I became with myself, the happier I could make the others around me. I found the key to unlock my happiness and it began with fixing myself internally and externally. External changes such as working out and something as simple as lightening my hair made me feel good.

Fixing only the external things I was unhappy with wouldn’t make everything better though, I needed to fix the internal things as well. Internal changes such as, eating whole and more natural foods. But the most important internal change I made was realizing that I am not perfect, but I am being the best me I know how!

All these things contributed to making a happier healthier me! I am always growing and a work in progress, and am going to enjoy every step of my journey. I am just going to enjoy being me and not who everyone thinks I should be!

Enjoy the rest of the your weekend and start your week off with a bang tomorrow!

Sweet Dreams!

Thanks Tiff, for that write up about not being perfect and being happy for you before you can make others happy.
